Call for Proposal (CFP)

Deadline for Proposal Submission: January 14, 2022

Please take a moment to review the following information before you begin your submission.  

Proposals are currently being accepted for PowerUp 2022, which is sponsored by Missouri Assistive Technology. For consideration by the review committee, please complete the online form and all submission requirements no later than January 14, 2022.

General Information

• Presentations will be 60 minutes in length and should include time for questions and answers.
• Applications must be completed online.
• Applicants are encouraged to diversify their presentation delivery and to utilize presentation techniques that increase participant engagement.

Evaluation Criteria

• Relevance to the theme of the conference
• Replication (practical, can be adapted/adopted)
• Impact (likelihood to be effective in enhancing participants' knowledge and skill level)
• Objectives (specific knowledge participants will gain)

Suggested Topics (Other topics will be considered)

• AAC
• Education
• Vision / Hearing
• AT Products and Services

Submission Requirements (please have ready before starting the submission process)

• Lead and Co-Presenter contact information.  Lead presenter will receive all correspondence
• Title of presentation (to be used in conference materials)
• Lead and Co-Presenter brief biography (maximum of 100 words) to be used in conference materials
• Three key learning objectives
• AV Requirements

Important Dates and Deadlines:

• Call for proposal applications deadline: January 14, 2022
• Proposal selection notification announcements: January 19, 2022
• PowerPoint presentations and hand-out materials deadline: February 28, 2022
• Conference dates: April 4 & 5, 2022
